These five destinations are not interchangeable. Inari sits furthest north, on a lake with no town light on the visible horizon. Saariselkä is on the northern fringe of Urho Kekkonen National Park and is where glass-roof accommodation started. Rovaniemi has the flights, Levi the resort infrastructure, Ylläs the quiet.
Each profile below gives the arrival airport and transfer time, what the sky is actually like there (the horizon, the settlement light, how high the arc tends to stand) and which of the villas sit in that area. We publish no aurora frequency figure per village, because nobody measures one per village.
