Star Arctic sits at the very top of Kaunispää, the fell that rises directly from Saariselkä village. The Skyview suites have full-height glass walls on three sides, no curtains, and an elevation high enough to clear the local treeline, meaning a true 270° panorama from the bed.
The summit road is private and lit at night so guests can drive themselves. The hotel has its own observatory, restaurant, and a fleet of fat-bikes for the summer.
